Mono-material
Cups, lids and foils are made from mono-materials and are therefore designed for a recycling-compatible material structure.
For us, sustainability starts with material-efficient packaging, a recycling-compatible material structure and the consistent return of our production residues into the process.
Our production combines material efficiency, mono-material solutions and the direct recycling of clean, single-material production residues. The following figures show how we put these principles into practice.
Cups, lids and foils are made from mono-materials and are therefore designed for a recycling-compatible material structure.
Minimal plastic loss, as 99.99% of the materials can be processed, including foils made from recyclate.
No additional decoration materials such as labels, sleeves or cardboard bands are required – thanks to direct printing on cups and lids.
The plastic production trim generated during punching is ground and recycled.
Energy-efficient cup production through the integration of extrusion and thermoforming with immediate recycling of regrind.
Clean, single-material production residues and trim skeletons made of PP, PS or PET are ground directly after punching in the inline process combining extrusion and thermoforming, and are then automatically returned to foil extrusion. This keeps the material within the production cycle and allows it to be reused immediately.
