Thermoforming Shapes Your Packaging

Precise forming of cups, containers and lids made from PP, PS or PET.

Thermoforming is one of the most flexible and resource-efficient processes in packaging production. Extruded mono foils made from PP, PS or PET are formed in machines with special tools using heat, compressed air and cooling to create precise, functional packaging solutions – cups, containers or lids.

The initial foil thickness determines the product weight, while the remaining trim skeleton is reused – much like leftover dough when cutting out Christmas cookies. Thermoforming therefore offers not only enormous design freedom, but also ecological and economic advantages.

At both of our plants, extrusion and thermoforming are combined in-line wherever technically possible. The finished product is then produced directly from the granulate – all in one efficient and resource-saving process.
